Kristin Schlag: Leading Without Losing Yourself

With the E.D.E.N. Method, the author and speaker offers high-achieving women an idea rarely heard in the language of success: that wellbeing should be part of leadership from the very start.

Portrait of Kristin Schlag, creator of the E.D.E.N. Method

Some careers fit neatly into a single box; others force you to redesign the form. Kristin Schlag’s belongs to the second kind. A graduate in Translation and Interpreting, she has built her career in the police, in senior strategic leadership roles, while developing a solid background in wellbeing alongside it: she is a health coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, a yoga and breathwork instructor and a sports coach. She also writes books, gives talks and has created a method of her own.

Read quickly, her CV seems to scatter in every direction. Read carefully, it all points the same way: understanding how people perform under pressure, and what they need to hold steady without breaking.

An uncomfortable question

Who takes care of those who are always taking care of others? That question is the starting point of Kristin Schlag’s work, which is aimed at women who lead teams, hold up businesses and families, and answer for others at any hour. Women for whom self-care tends to sit at the bottom of the list, if it makes the list at all.

Her approach is not about adding more tasks to diaries that have no room left. It goes the other way: reviewing what takes up space, regaining control over one’s own time, and measuring strength also by the ability to recognise a limit.

The E.D.E.N. Method

That philosophy has taken shape in the E.D.E.N. Method, which its creator builds on four pillars: Structure, Design, Essence and Neuroconsolidation. The method combines habits, self-knowledge, emotional regulation and conscious breathing, and is offered through one-to-one sessions, mentoring and online training with the method’s own certification.

E.D.E.N. does not promise overnight change. Its focus is on what lasts: routines that survive demanding weeks, everyday decisions made with greater awareness, and self-care that becomes part of the way you work rather than an occasional reward. Breathwork plays a central role, always adapted to each person’s circumstances.

What sets the project apart is how precisely it chooses its audience. It speaks to high-achieving women who already know how to perform, and who want to keep doing so without losing their centre.

“My greatest achievement is not having learned to endure everything, but having learned not to abandon myself.”

Author and speaker

Writing extends that territory. Kristin Schlag has written three books in very different registers, and all three have become Amazon bestsellers: ¿Te emocionas con lo que comes o te comes tus emociones?, the novel La casa de las monjas: intriga en 3 tiempos and ¿Y si la respuesta estuviera en ti? Ranging from popular non-fiction to fiction, they share the same curiosity about emotions and about the questions that set change in motion.

On stage, that curiosity becomes a conversation. Her talks bring audiences an idea closely tied to this moment in women’s leadership: wellbeing is a condition for leading with coherence, not a prize saved for the end of the day.

A next chapter with international ambition

Her roadmap goes beyond individual coaching. Kristin Schlag is working to consolidate the E.D.E.N. Method, expand her programmes and workshops, multiply her talks and conscious-breathing experiences, publish new books and build a community of women from different countries. She is also exploring partnerships with professionals from other disciplines to take her work further without losing its core.

In a world that tends to measure success in figures, titles and results, Kristin Schlag introduces another measure: moving forward without giving up your own identity. It is that perspective that earns her a place on The Power List.
